What is SheSaaS?

We bring together women across PE sponsors and portfolio companies, helping build a high-performing and diverse network of female leaders.

Through events, workshops, webinars and mentoring opportunities, SheSaaS gives members space to exchange ideas, grow their professional network and learn from others in the industry.

Christine Maslin

Founding Member – SheSaaS

I have been inspired over the years by some incredible women in our sector. In March 2023 I brought together a small group of these women for a female leadership dinner, the power, talent and camaraderie in the room was euphoric and yet the humility was truly remarkable. It became clear for me and for many of us that evening that we could do more to support and empower women in the sector. A few of us got together and SheSaaS was born

March 2023 Christine’s organised event for women in Private Equity Software and invited me to be a panellist with Charlotte and Joan. It was easily most memorable event I have ever attended. 25 women in our sector, sharing experiences, laughs, being vulnerable, being bold, authentic, and willing to support. It was so humbling and exhilarating, but also clear we all at points in our career need support and I knew then we must do something. We were soon remined by Joan of famous Madeleine Albright quote: “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!” At SheSaaS will work hard to ensure, that place in hell will not be occupied by any women in our sector.

Having spent my career in Private Equity Software, i felt there was a much needed network to bring us all together, to share, support, guide and learn from one and other. I recognised that Private Equity firms are keen to work with exceptional women, and exceptional women just need the opportunity for an introduction to this sector so that they can share their wealth of knowledge, experiences and viewpoints. I was asked to sit on a panel with some truly amazing women in March 2023 and following on from that SheSaaS was born. I am truly excited about our journey and supporting making a difference for women in Private Equity Software.

Empowered women, Empower women. As such, I strongly believe that where there is an opportunity to pay it forward and help others, there should be no hesitation. Luckily, this thought was shared by Christine who brought a few executives together to be panelists at an event focused on helping women navigate the Private Equity industry. As a Panelist, I had the pleasure of working alongside Charlotte and Iveta who as seasoned executives, share the same vision around supporting, guiding and motivating women in the industry. Having worked with Private Equity firms throughout my career, I am aware of the want to address the lack of gender diversity which not only hinders opportunities for capable women but also limits potential growth and innovation. Therefore , I am thrilled that SheSaaS was born and feel incredibly privileged to be a Founding Member.

In March of 2023 I had the pleasure of hosting a Female Leaders event bringing together truly inspirational women across the private equity SaaS space. Following this, we all walked away with such excitement and passion and it became evident the need to bring together a network to continue to support, guide and empower women across this space. I am unbelievably thrilled to be a founding member alongside such an impressive group of women, and excited be on this SheSaaS journey.
